·         Give every child a paintbrush with colored ribbons flowing out of the brush.

 

·         Let the children make up what they are going to paint with their particular color instead of using these lyrics.

 

·         This song has many applications - use it as a color song, a spring song (the world is bursting with new colors in springtime), a creation song, and also a tikkun olam song.

 

·         With very young kids, just sing the chorus at the beginning and end of the song.
